Today is World Water Day when we celebrate water and raise awareness of the 2.2 billion people across the world who don’t have access to safe water. Your support has helped bring clean water to more than 600,000 people across East Africa, changing the lives of village and school communities.
The Fields of Life drilling team works tirelessly, spending months away from their families as they travel across Uganda. A borehole can transform a community- health, school attendance and economic activity are all positively impacted. In this video, we travel with Fields of Life team member George as he visits Bungoma village in Uganda, to meet the drillers and talk to the community about the difference that a safe, clean water source will make.
